Time Flies

I’m afraid my old website just became to much of a hastle to deal with… so I decided to start a little blog here on WordPress.  I think it will me much easier to use and maybe I will be more apt to keep it up to date.

To catch everyone up on what has been going on in my life… I am back in school full-time at the University of Montana in Missoula.  I’m loving the whole experience of being a student again.  Missoula is a wonderful place to hang my hat for a while and I am excited to be back after an action packed summer in Wyoming.

For those of you who may not know I spent a good part of the summer working as a field tech on a wolf predation study.  We got weekely downloads from GPS-collared wolves and hiked in to potential kill sites.  We were like detectives… examining the sites for wolf sign (beds, scat, hair, etc) and evidence of a kill (carcass, blood, bones, etc).  It was tons of fun and I made many great friends in the process.  For more pictures from the project click here.

Anyway, I am now back in Missoula and enjoying the amazing fall weather we have been having here.  School is keeping me fairly busy and I am also still working for Judy when I have time.  This semester is going by so fast I can hardly believe it is is almost two-thirds over. It’s looking like I only have one more semester after this and I will be graduating in May.  I can’t believe how fast time has gone since I first came to Missoula!

Oh, I almost forgot… I finished my kayak back in May.  I got to take it out a few times this summer and it preformed perfectly.  If anyone is interested in seeing some pictures click here.
